EO APAC Crowns Tam Nguyen, Chapter Professional of the Year, During the 2024 APAC Moderator & Regional Leadership Summit

The prestigious EO APAC Chapter Professional of the Year 2024 award was presented to Tam Nguyen, Chapter Manager of EO Vietnam, at the recent 2024 APAC Moderator & Regional Leadership Summit held in Fremantle, Australia. This recognition highlights her remarkable contributions to the growth and success of EO Vietnam.
Tam has been instrumental in driving the success of EO Vietnam, despite its smaller size compared to other chapters. Her dedication and organizational skills have enabled her to successfully manage a series of high-impact events over the past year, including 15 chapter dinners, 4 forum trainings, 2 myEO events, and 8 learning sessions. Each of these events was executed flawlessly, enhancing member engagement and satisfaction. Under Tam’s leadership, the chapter doubled its membership in just one year, a remarkable achievement that speaks to her commitment and strategic vision.
Tam’s meticulous attention to detail and her ability to go above and beyond her official responsibilities have made a lasting impact on the chapter. From hosting guests and ensuring seamless event coordination to fostering communication between members and the board, she has played a key role in making EO Vietnam a thriving and highly professional chapter.
In addition to Tam’s win, Kirsten Yokoyama, Chapter Manager of EO Melbourne, was honored with a Distinctive Achievement Award. Kirsten’s contributions to EO Melbourne over the past 18 years have been nothing short of extraordinary. She has overseen the chapter's growth from a small group to a "mega chapter" of over 200 members. Her long-standing service, working with 18 different chapter presidents, has been crucial to maintaining continuity and driving the chapter's success.
Kirsten has taken EO Melbourne to new heights, transitioning from managing the chapter’s daily operations on her own to leading a team of five staff members. Her leadership has ensured a smooth experience for members and created a thriving environment within the chapter. Kirsten's collaboration extends beyond Melbourne, as she has played a pivotal role in supporting other chapters across the South Pacific, particularly during times of leadership transitions, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the EO network.
The awards were presented by Shivani Gupta, EO APAC Regional Products Director, who commended Tam and Kirsten for their tireless contributions to their chapters and the broader EO community. The 2024 APAC Moderator & Regional Leadership Summit gathered chapter leaders and managers from across the Asia Pacific region, providing an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals like Tam Nguyen and Kirsten Yokoyama.
